All Work And No Play
Hello blog world, it's been a while. Preparing to move has pretty much consumed all of my waking hours lately.
Yesterday I spent the day cleaning mold out of the window sills, washing the windows(wow, there is so much more light in my house now), and I cleaned quite a bit of black gook out of my oven.
Today I will clean out the fridge and then I think I will treat myself to a pedicure. All work and no play.....what is the rest of that cliche? Oh yeah, makes Jack a dull boy. Is that it?
Our move day is this Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm anxious to get settled in our new home and look forward to getting to know someone. Anyone. I'm afraid we will be friendless in Federal way for a while so if you know me and want to send out an encouraging word I'd gladly receive it. I've never been much of a loner and I don't plan on starting now.

I'll be your friend!

I'm moving with you just like I have on every move you've made since college. Love you much. I know God will also provide just the right people in your life for you to bless and to be blessed by you. I'm looking forward to visiting you soon.
Happy Moving! (And unpacking!)

I promise, I'll keep in touch!
By the way, so much good stuff said about you guys this past weekend...I wanted to single you out a little and tell you how much God has used you when you have prayed for me. You have always seemed to know the right time and after you get done I always want to say "yeah God, what SHE said"...but I know I don't have to because it's so obvious that when you speak with God, the two of you are really communicating. Thanks so much Michelle.

Moving can be challenging. Starting over in a new area can be overwhelming. Every time I have gone to God with my fears, anxiety and sadness, He has come through and shown how powerful of a God he is. Yesterday, I left church missing all of you so much. I prayed on my way home that God would send me a friend. Last night at Bible study, I met two girls my age (everyone I've met so far is either 5 years older, or 5 years younger), and we're meeting up for dinner soon. God is faithful. He'll be faithful to you and your family too.
